MOD award two year contract for online auctions

Estates Gazette (extract)

It was announced in the Estates Gazette that the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has awarded a two year 'online auction' contract to Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) as part of a drive to reduce its estate.

In a ringing endorsement of this relatively new route to market, the Defence Infastructure Organisation, part of the MoD, invited firms to tender specifically to provide online auctions.

The tender document specifically said that the auctions had to be online so this could be indicative of the Government's wish to drive sales online.

EIG Online Auction Platform

LSH use the online auction platform created and supported by Essential Information Group (EIG).

We have been pioneers in the online auction space and over the past two years have developed a track record of sucess, having sold a wide variety of property all over the UK through our platform.
