EIG host the Auctioneers Annual Industry Get Together!

13th October 2017

The Royal Thames Yacht Club, Knightsbridge

A fantastic time was had by all celebrating at the EIG 20th Annual Auctioneers Lunch at the Royal Thames Yacht Club. The food was delicious and the wine free flowing as always at our events.

A new venue for this year, chosen for it's fine food and our dining room had a superb view into Hyde Park, a rare treat for a venue in the heart of the city.
I wanted to say a big thank you from myself and the team at LSH for such a superb afternoon last Friday. We thoroughly enjoyed the new venue that I thought worked very well, and as always, it was enjoyable to catch up with others in our industry - especially to discuss guide prices... I feel this discussion could go on for some time within our business!
It goes without saying that I particularly enjoyed catching up with the EIG team. You guys do some much to support us, and we wouldn't have had this opportunity without you and the team providing us with the various platforms that are so key to the running of our business. I would be grateful if you could pass our thanks around the whole team at EIG. I know you all work tirelessly and nothing ever seems to faze you.
Many thanks again, as always.

Founded in 1775, the Royal Thames Yacht Club is the oldest continuously operating yacht club in the world as well as being the oldest royal yacht club.
The members participate in a wide range of racing and cruising events in home waters and worldwide, so with EIG Managing Director, David Sandeman a keen and accomplished sailor it seemed a perfect setting to celebrate.
