Network Auctions National Partner Conference
18th January 2017 - Hosted at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Mayfair, London
Essential information Group (EIG) are proud to have supported the Network Auctions National Partner Conference 2017 where EIG Managing Director, David Sandeman was invited as a guest speaker.
EIG provided all the IT support for the conference from running the presentations and video content downloads throughout the day, working with multiple laptops to offer Mac and PC compatibility for the presenters, through to setting up the wireless sound.
The event was well attended by around seventy agents, journalists and members of the Network Auctions team. The day progressed with excellent presentations from Toby Limbrick, Richard Worrall and Guy Charrison from Network Auctions about auctions.
David Sandeman spoke about the auction market, where he saw the future and explored the growth opportunities the future will show to Auctioneers.
Samantha Ashdown spoke about marketing and gave some helpful tips to agents about the use of social media, content marketing and relationship building and Scott Hendry of Together Money spoke about finance.
Overall it was an excellent day with superb feedback from the delegates attending:
"David, You were first rate yesterday – entertaining, passionate and fun. You also hammered home the important message, I liked the way you put Prices across and I could see the penny drop all round the room. Thanks again for your support and contribution which is very much appreciated."
Cheers, Toby Limbrick FNAVA Network Auctions
"David, Thank you for speaking at yesterday's event. I hope you enjoyed it. 97% of delegates rated your presentation very good or excellent which is fantastic, and testament to your delivery and clever use of the clicker!"
I know from speaking to Partners throughout the day that they they found your presentation of great relevance and a number of them have made comments on their feedback to that effect. I think you have certainly given them some things to think about. I will be sending the Partners a Conference update email and will include your details so they can communicate directly with you to make sure that they are getting the most out of their EIG membership."
Thanks again,
Richard Worrall FNAEA Network Auctions

The Most Important Document in the Legal Pack? The One That’s Missing.
Legal packs are often treated as the definitive source of truth in a property transaction. But in reality, they are anything but complete. While they provide essential information, they are built to meet minimum requirements - not to offer full transparency. And in many cases, it’s not what’s included that creates risk, but what’s missing.

Guide Prices: Why Buyers Should Treat Them as a Guide to the Reserve
Guide prices are one of the most misunderstood elements of the auction process. Too often, buyers treat them as an indication of a property’s value, when in reality they are designed to signal something entirely different, the likely reserve. In an increasingly competitive and dynamic auction market, understanding this distinction is critical to making informed decisions and avoiding costly assumptions.

There’s So Much More Than the Aroma of Hot Coffee…
There’s so much more to selling a property than creating the perfect first impression. While details like fresh coffee, open windows, and careful staging can help set the scene, today’s buyers are looking for something far more important - clarity, confidence, and certainty. And that doesn’t come from how a property feels, but from how well it’s prepared behind the scenes.
