Bidder registration is a service designed to fast-track the registration and risk assessment of bidders. Many potential bidders will already have an online Passport account having viewed legal documents in the past either on your site or the other 100+ auction sites that use the service.
Potential bidders can use their account to enter additional personal information that is required for online ID verification checks. If they then register their interest in an upcoming auction lot(s) you be able to carry out an identity check at a time of your choosing, saving both the potential bidder and yourself time on the day.
The bidder registration section will allow you to search for registered customers, view their pre-uploaded identity information, perform anti-money laundering checks, and keep all of this information stored and audited. You can assign paddle numbers to authorised bidders and report on the current state of all registered or authorised bidders.
